Softball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Takes a Loss

The Lighthouse Christian Chargers lost 12-2 to the Plato Eagles on Friday. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lighthouse Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Plato, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Lighthouse Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mt. Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on May 1. As for Plato, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Norwood on the 12th.
