Coconut Creek was beaten by McArthur 66-16 on Tuesday. Coconut Creek was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.
Despite the defeat, Coconut Creek had strong showings from Devonique Thompson, who scored six points, and Tessan Parchment, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and six steals. Parchment has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
Coconut Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for McArthur, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
Coconut Creek will be playing at home against Everglades at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Everglades is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for McArthur, they will head out on the road to face off against Plantation at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
