Baseball Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Westwood was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 22-2 to the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kingsley-Pierson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Westwood is set to square off against their familiar foe Ridge View at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Kingsley-Pierson will challenge rival Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
