The Chamberlain Storm will face off against the Jefferson Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Chamberlain is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 27th on Wednesday. They came up short against Lennard, falling 10-4.

Daria Bush was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and seven unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Braylynn Ausman-Hall was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Isabella Dominguez, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Jefferson lost 10-3 to Durant on Wednesday. The Dragons have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
Jania Santos made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Chamberlain, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Chamberlain hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317. However, it's not like Jefferson struggles in that department as they've averaged .331. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Chamberlain was able to grind out a solid win over Jefferson in their previous meeting on April 3rd, winning 8-3. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
