Soccer Recap: Manti's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Manti barely beat Union the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Templars never let the Cougars get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Tuesday. Manti might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

The victory (which was Manti's third in a row) raised their record to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Union, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Coincidentally, Manti and Union will both be playing Carbon the next time they take the pitch. The Templars will head out to face the Dinos at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
