Football Recap: Niobrara County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Niobrara County lost against Big Piney back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers were outmatched by the Punchers and fell 51-12.

Zavier Clifford was a one-man wrecking crew For Big Piney. as he rushed for 146 yards and five TDs on only 12 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Finley Strong, who rushed for 39 yards and one score.

Niobrara County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Big Piney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Niobrara County will challenge Greybull at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Big Piney, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Pine Bluffs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
