Football Recap: R Bracey Key Part of Team Effort in Warriors Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bethesda Academy, Dillon Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 20-10 victory over the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 29-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Dillon Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was R Bracey, who rushed for 54 yards and one touchdown. Jordan Blackmon was in the mix too, providing the Warriors with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Dillon Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 219 rushing yards. They are 3-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Another reason for the win was Dillon Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Wyatt Locklear with two. Another thorn in Hilton Head Prep's side was Ethan Moody, who forced one fumble, made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended one pass.

Dillon Christian's record is now 3-5. As for Hilton Head Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
