Baseball Recap: Southern Huntingdon County Comes Up Short

Southern Huntingdon County lost against Fannett Metal two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets lost 12-2 to Fannett Metal. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southern Huntingdon County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bronson Hoffman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Southern Huntingdon County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Fannett Metal, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Southern Huntingdon County will head out to take on Claysburg-Kimmel at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rockets will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Fannett Metal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Everett at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
