Volleyball Recap: Pitman Pride vs. Santa Barbara Dons

Pitman won the last time they faced Santa Barbara and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pride came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dons, sneaking past 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Pitman got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 18-16.

Maryn Hall paced Pitman's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hall got some help from Izabella Ziencina and her 28 assists. Alyssa Moreno controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pitman's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Santa Barbara, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Pitman has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Clovis West on the 13th. As for Santa Barbara, they will challenge Pacifica at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
