Volleyball Recap: Springstead Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Springstead entered their tilt with Anclote on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Sharks with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sharks, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Springstead was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-8, 25-10.

Paloma Verde paced Springstead's offense, picking up nine kills. Verde got some help from Mackenna Chambers and her 25 assists. Chambers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Springstead's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Anclote, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Springstead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Weeki Wachee on the 8th. As for Anclote, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Hudson on the 9th.
