Volleyball Recap: Felton Grove Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Felton Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverside-Durham Pirates.

Felton Grove wouldn't go down easily and took Riverside-Durham into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 16-25, 13-25, 25-21, 15-7.

Nureen Khan was her usual excellent self, getting 18 digs and two aces for Riverside-Durham. Khan has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Felton Grove's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Riverside-Durham, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Coming up, Felton Grove will take on Cardinal Gibbons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverside-Durham, they will square off against Hillside at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
