Anderson County is a perfect 5-0 against Seymour since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Anderson County Mavericks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Seymour Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Anderson County has five straight victories, Seymour has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Anderson County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 73-57 win over Clinton.

Meanwhile, Seymour ended up a good deal behind Cocke County last Tuesday and lost 60-41. The Eagles were down 46-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Anderson County will have to contain Ayden Huskey as he made an impact in Seymour's last game. He went 6-for-7 to rack up 13 points. Huskey continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayes Golden, who posted seven points.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Anderson County, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.
