Oswego barely beat Neuqua Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Wildcats  a   6-0 shutout  on Friday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 25 matches by six  runs or more this season.
Not much got past  Jaelynn Anthony, who gave up just  two  hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Neuqua Valley off the board. Anthony has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Oswego saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kiyah Chavez, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
The  victory made it two in a row for Oswego and  bumps their season record up to 33-2. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0  runs in those games. As for Neuqua Valley, they moved to 17-15 with that  loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Oswego nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
