Basketball Recap: Holden Takes a Loss

Holden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 69-55 to the Lexington Minutemen. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 541st, while the Minutemen are ranked 209th).

Holden's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Holden will take on Butler at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lexington has already played their next contest (against Lafayette County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
