Softball Recap: Laurens Comes Up Short

After flying high against Southside on Thursday, Laurens came back down to earth. The Laurens Raiders fell 7-2 to the Clinton Red Devils on Friday. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Laurens' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Clinton, they moved to 2-3-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Laurens will host Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westside will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. Clinton has already played their next matchup (against Abbeville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
