Basketball Recap: Eastmont Piles Up the Points Against Eisenhower

Eastmont hadn't done well against Eisenhower recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Eastmont Wildcats blew past the Eisenhower Cadets 63-30. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.

Eastmont is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points over those games. Eisenhower has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Eastmont will challenge West Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eastmont knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully West Valley likes a good challenge. Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
