Baseball Recap: Darlington Comes Up Short

Darlington lost against Lancaster back in May of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redbirds fell 7-4 to the Flying Arrows. The Redbirds just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Darlington's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lancaster, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Darlington will face off against Riverdale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lancaster, they will square off against Platteville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
