Grayson County is a perfect 10-0 against Giles since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Grayson County Blue Devils will challenge the Giles Spartans at 5:00 p.m. Grayson County will be strutting in after a win while Giles will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Grayson County made easy work of Holston and carried off a 16-3 victory. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Grayson County got a massive performance out of Mac Goad, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Mav Goad, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Giles lost 11-1 to Narrows on Tuesday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Green Waves recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Giles now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Grayson County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Everything went Grayson County's way against Giles when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Grayson County made off with an 18-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grayson County since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
