Soccer Game Preview: Spanaway Lake vs. Bethel

The Spanaway Lake Sentinels will face off against the Bethel Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Spanaway Lake's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Spanaway Lake was handed a five-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They never let Yelm get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Bethel was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against Sumner, falling 5-0.

Bethel's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2. As for Spanaway Lake, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Spanaway Lake might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Bethel in their previous matchup back in May of 2019. Can the Sentinels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
