Basketball Recap: Ridgewood Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Ridgewood lost to Ramapo back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Ridgewood Maroons walked away with a 46-38 win over the Ramapo Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Maroons.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Charlie Wingfield, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 11 points. Wingfield is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Aj Greig, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Ridgewood's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. As for Ramapo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.

Ridgewood has already played their next matchup (against Eastside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ramapo, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-54 win against Hackensack on the 18th.
