Basketball Recap: Liam Daniels' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Liberty over Pikeview

Liberty lost against PikeView back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Liberty Raiders took a hard 76-57 fall against the PikeView Panthers. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Liam Daniels, who went 7 of 15 en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Riley Marty, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds.

Liberty now has a losing record at 3-4. As for PikeView, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-38 loss against Wyoming East on the 28th. PikeView has also already played their next contest, a 52-49 defeat against Shady Spring on the 28th.
