Softball Game Preview: Strawberry Crest Chargers vs. Wesley Chapel Wildcats

The Strawberry Crest Chargers will head out to challenge the Wesley Chapel Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Strawberry Crest has given up an average of 7.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Strawberry Crest fell victim to Newsome and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 11-0 to the Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Monday. Wesley Chapel came up short against Wharton, falling 11-5.

Wesley Chapel got a good showing from Ashley Bolt, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Bolt has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
