Football Recap: Centennial Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Centennial had won two straight games and Kamron Hudson did his part to make it three on Friday. The Knights took down the Chattahoochee Cougars 32-16 for which the team can thank Hudson, who rushed for 171 yards while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making one tackle and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Centennial, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brayden Roberson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Centennial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Emory Smith, Hudson, and Junior Howard picked up one apiece.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Chattahoochee, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Centennial will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chapel Hill at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th. The Knights will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.25 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Chattahoochee, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 50-0 defeat against Milton on the 19th.
