Soccer Recap: Friendship Comes Up Short

If Friendship was feeling good fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Lima Christian on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Jasper-Troupsburg Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Friendship haven't had much luck with Jasper-Troupsburg recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Friendship's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Jasper-Troupsburg, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Friendship will head out on the road to challenge Cuba-Rushford at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jasper-Troupsburg, they will square off against Hammondsport at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
