Soccer Recap: Northeast Dubois vs. Southridge
After flying high against Pike Central last Monday, Northeast Dubois came back down to earth. The Northeast Dubois Jeeps took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southridge Raiders on Thursday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Jeeps couldn't quite close it out.
Northeast Dubois' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Southridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Dubois will head out to face off against Evansville Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Northeast Dubois is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Southridge, they will challenge Gibson Southern at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
