Baseball Recap: Living Word Lutheran Comes Up Short

The Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves didn't have quite enough to beat the Horicon Marshmen on Saturday and fell 8-7. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Easton Oliver made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with two runs. Another player making a difference was Kaden Weissenburger, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Living Word Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Horicon, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Coincidentally, Living Word Lutheran and Horicon will both be playing St. Mary's Springs the next time they take the field. The Marshmen will host the Ledgers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Timberwolves will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
