Buckeye had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-1 victory. Considering the Panthers have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Buckeye has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, they now have a losing record of 14-15.
