Baseball Recap: Colonial Heights Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Colonial Heights can now relate to. They fell 5-0 to the New Kent Trojans on Tuesday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Colonials were not able to get on the board.

Colonial Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for New Kent, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.

Colonial Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Kent, they will take on Grafton on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Trojans 1.6, the Clippers 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
