Softball Recap: Springboro Victorious

Springboro won the last time they faced Waynesville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers walked away with a 19-14 win over the Spartans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Springboro got a massive performance out of Bella Miller, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with six RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those three runs gave Miller a new career-high. Kylene Seibel was another key player, going 4-for-6 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs.

Miller wasn't the only one making solid contact: Springboro kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.

Springboro's record is now 5-3. As for Waynesville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Springboro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Springfield on the 9th. Hopefully Waynesville payed attention to the Panthers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
