There's no place like home for Ubly, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Marlette Red Raiders 3-0 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

Ubly never let Marlette on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-12, 25-16.

Waverly Hagen paced Ubly's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hagen got some help from Sadi Heleski and her 33 assists.

Ubly's victory bumped their record up to 21-9-3. As for Marlette, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-14.

Ubly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Sandusky on the 23rd. As for Marlette, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Brown City on the 23rd.
