Basketball Recap: Unity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

They were dealt a 79-31 loss at the hands of the Terra Ceia Christian Knights. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-22.

Despite the loss, Unity Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Shane Fisher, who posted ten points. The dominant performance gave Fisher a new career-high in points.

Leading Terra Ceia Christian to victory were Aidan Persons and Ryan Ange. Persons dropped a double-double on 33 points and 11 rebounds, while Ange dropped a triple-double on 24 points, 19 boards, and 12 assists. Ange's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Tripp Elliot was another key player, going 6 of 7 on his way to 16 points.

Unity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Terra Ceia Christian, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.
