After losing to Jacksonville the last time they met, New Bern decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bears put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

New Bern's got stronger as the match went on, holding Jacksonville to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-19, 25-10.

Leading New Bern to victory were Allie Tuzo and Gabrielle Pidgeon. Tuzo had 17 digs, while Pidgeon had 12 digs. Those 17 digs gave Tuzo a new career-high.
