King's Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

John Casey paced King's Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Casey got some help from Jake Manning and his 25 assists.

King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Lake Highland Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-15.

King's Academy has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Cardinal Gibbons on the 13th. Lake Highland Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
