Grant Union lost to Crane back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Prospectors secured a 32-28 W over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Prospectors.

Grant Union's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Crane, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Grant Union will look to defend their home field on the 12th against Culver at 7:00 p.m. As for Crane, they will venture away from home to take on Colton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
