Basketball Recap: Crystal Springs Uplands Takes a Loss

Crystal Springs Uplands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through an 82-43 loss at the hands of the Menlo School Knights. While losing is never fun, the Gryphons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 816th, while the Knights are ranked 297th).

Crystal Springs Uplands' loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Menlo School, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crystal Springs Uplands and Kehillah will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Menlo School, they will take on King's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 games -- so hopefully Menlo School likes a good challenge.
