Basketball Game Preview: Rolla Bulldogs vs. Branson Pirates

The Rolla Bulldogs will challenge the Branson Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Rolla was fully in charge, breezing past Marshfield 80-37. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Branson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Monday as they fell 69-64 to Hillcrest. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rolla has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Branson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
