Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only John Hancock Academy walked away with it. They came out on top against the David Emanuel Academy Eagles by a score of 61-48 on Tuesday. The Rebels' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Olivia Rackley, who posted 33 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of John Hancock Academy's points. Kandler Martin was another key player, putting up 16 points.

When it comes to explaining why David Emanuel Academy lost, don't look at Aubrey Williams. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Peebles, who earned seven points and eight rebounds.

The victory was the fourth in a row for John Hancock Academy, bringing their record for this year to 13-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points over those games. As for David Emanuel Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
