Jay won the last time they faced South San Antonio and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs skirted past the Bobcats 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

South San Antonio lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alyssa Ramirez, who had 41 digs and ten assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times she's played. Isabela Sanford was another key player, getting 13 digs and two aces.

Jay's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for South San Antonio, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Jay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Harlandale on the 16th. As for South San Antonio, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against St. Anthony on the 15th.
