Baseball Recap: Oratory Prep Find Success

Oratory Prep won the last time they faced Summit and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rams walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Hilltoppers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

The team relied heavily on Brendan Keown, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincenzo Luaces, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Oratory Prep's win bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12-1.

Looking ahead, Oratory Prep will face off against Johnson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit, they are taking a road trip to challenge Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
