Volleyball Recap: Bryant Gets the Win

Bryant posted their closest win since May 8, 2024 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Long Island City Bulldogs 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Owls: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in March, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Bryant and bumps their season record up to 3-6. As for Long Island City, they moved to 7-2 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryant will venture away from home to square off against Newcomers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Owls are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Long Island City, they will challenge Aviation at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
