Chico is 10-0 against Red Bluff since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Chico Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Red Bluff Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Chico will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Chico faced off against Foothill on Friday. Chico never let Foothill onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Keahi Davis had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Red Bluff was able to grind out a solid win over Enterprise on Friday, taking the game 2-0. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 428th, while the Hornets are ranked 869th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chico's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Red Bluff, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record this season.

Everything went Chico's way against Red Bluff in their previous meeting back in January, as Chico made off with a 5-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chico since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
