Volleyball Recap: Altamonte Christian's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Legacy Charter on Tuesday, Altamonte Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Winter Springs Bears on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Altamonte Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Altamonte Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Valeria Marte, who had 18 kills and three blocks. Marte is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least seven every time she's taken the court this season. Ashlyn Hoberg was another key player, getting 24 assists and three aces.

Altamonte Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Winter Springs, their record is now 13-11.
