Volleyball Recap: Central Noble Comes Up Short

Central Noble lost against West Noble back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Chargers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-5.

West Noble got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kailyn Slone out in front who had 12 assists and six digs. That's the most digs Slone has posted over her last seven matches.

Central Noble has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for West Noble, their victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-2.

Coming up, Central Noble will take on Prairie Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Noble, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Fairfield on the 11th.
