Volleyball Recap: Central Noble Takes a Loss

Central Noble lost against West Noble back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Chargers.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-5.

Jaylee Slone paced Central Noble's offense, picking up three kills. Slone got some help from Jalayna Winebrenner and her four assists.

West Noble got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kailyn Slone out in front who had 12 assists and six digs. That's the most digs Slone has posted over her last seven matchups.

Central Noble has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season. As for West Noble, they pushed their record up to 25-2 with the victory, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.

Central Noble wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lakeland on the 11th. As for West Noble, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Fairfield on the 11th.
