Volleyball Recap: Snow Canyon Takes a Loss

Snow Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salt Lake Academy Griffins. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Griffins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Nathan Harris paced Snow Canyon's offense, picking up 12 kills. Harris got some help from John Linden and his 17 assists. Finally, Isaac Jaster kept Snow Canyon's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Snow Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Salt Lake Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Snow Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Cedar on the 8th. As for Salt Lake Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Dixie on the 8th.
