Hudson won the last time they faced Medina and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Explorers blew past the Battling Bees 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Explorers.

Hudson not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Medina between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-17.

James Hummel paced Hudson's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hummel got some help from Jackson Battaglia and his 26 assists. Hummel also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Sam Disney, racking up two apiece.

Hudson pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Medina, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
