McBee got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Montana Smith out in front who had two aces and 15 assists. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: Smith now served two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyleigh Hendrix, who had seven digs and four aces.
She wasn't the only good server: McBee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces in three consecutive matches.
Riverwalk Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for McBee, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
