Mound City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for West Platte, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.

Mound City has already played their next contest, a 52-27 win against Polo on the 29th. As for West Platte, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-45 defeat against North Platte on the 30th.
