Baseball Recap: University Beats Triumph Charter for Their Fourth Straight Victory

It's playoff time, and University had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Triumph Charter Jaguars 18-4 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Tupac B looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Angel Huerta was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Anthony Moller was another key player, going 1-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

University's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Triumph Charter, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-12.

University wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 victory against Jefferson on the 23rd. Triumph Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
