Payne Tech put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the West Essex Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since March 27th.

Payne Tech's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for West Essex, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, West Essex will host Barringer at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Payne Tech will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' matchup: after the Knights face off against Ridge, they'll take on Payne Tech again at 4:00 p.m. on May 4.
